Hey there,
Thanks for stopping by!
What I do, and why I love doing it
I recently graduated from the University of Rhode Island majoring in Sociology & Environmental Sustainability in 2018.
Since graduating I have worked in various research and human resource related positions and have gained numerous experiences in team work, communication, multi-tasking, meeting deadlines, working remotely, developing new ideas and event coordinating. My passion lies with environmental research but my time in human resources and accounting working with aging adults was an amazing turn of events.
I am a dedicated and incredibly passionate individual interested in researching social and environmental inequality on any issue.
Some issues that ignite my passion for research include: Environmental Racism, Multi-faceted issues of pollution (air, food, water),
Waste Reduction, and Food Security
Wanting to genuinely contribute to making my community a safer place, and becoming an advocate for social and environmental justice, equality, and awareness drives my passion every day.

Where I'm from
The small state of Rhode Island is where I originate from. During and after High School I spent a few years traveling back and forth from Florida, and spent some time in Portugal and South Korea before deciding to go back to school at the age of 23. When I had decided to attend college I knew that I was always intrigued by social concepts and wanted to explore social theory further. Knowing this, I dove right into adopting Sociology as my major in hopes to one day become an Environmental Impact Researcher, and later on a Sociology Professor.
