During my summer internship at Clean Water Action, I have learned an extraordinary amount about the environmental policy process, political campaign work and how it operates, how members in coalitions cooperate to improve the environment in a number of ways, and many valuable skills that will help me throughout any endeavor in my future career.

Some of the skills I have learned include conversational prowess, teamwork and time management, having a casual conversation with anyone even in the most uncomfortable of settings (at their door in the middle of dinner, etc.), attitude management, and increasing my intuition.

Another reason why I have fallen in love with Clean Water Action during my internship is because the organization is fair, fights for what should be basic social and environmental equality, creates a voice for those who do not have the ability to fight on their own, and creates a platform for any community to fight and work for what it rightfully deserved such as clean water, food, and air.
